The Intricacies of Fertility Preservation podcast explores why people preserve their fertility, how demand for fertility preservation has increased due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the impact this has had on family building and the fertility treatment sector, as well as the legal implications and need for fertility law reform in the UK. Louisa gives insight into some of the challenging and complex fertility preservation cases she has dealt, as well as the need for more awareness and protection for individual fertility and biological legacy. She also discusses the growing demand for egg freezing, treatment costs and success rates and the complex legal issues around egg, sperm and embryo storage limits in the UK.

In making this podcast with Eloise Edington for Ribbon Box, Louisa hopes that it will help raise awareness and inform thinking and debate about the importance of fertility preservation, as well as associated wide ranging and rapidly evolving legal issues across the fertility sector.
